About Me

I'm a New Media artist currently pursuing my Bachelor of Fine Arts in New Media with a minor in Computer Science at Toronto Metropolitan University.
My artistic practice focuses on the intersection of art and technology. I investigate the human condition through a lens of techno-fanaticism and a nostalgia for a time long past; blurred by our desire for connection and a simplification of our current hyper-mediated world. I like to hack and repurpose retro technologies and aesthics along with using code to program interactive experiences both through tangible and digital means. My art tackles deeply personal themes of family and cultural identity along with my own meditations on the current climate of technological innovation.
My research interests fall broadly under designing interactive experiences, educational and immersive technologies, with a focus in developing systems that leverage data visualization and networked interactions for artistic expression; currently within the field of live performances. I am particularly interested in the design, development, and use of creative technologies for artists and makers
