My Portfolio

I created this portfolio website with the idea of subvertting what it means to market oneself online. I am averse to user optimization. As an artist there is something self-decrecating in finding the most palatable way of portraying oneself and their most intimate works. Where I have become the product that I must market to others, framing myself as a service to be sold off to the highest bidder.

Using oldschool geocities aesthetics with banner ads for my own work on the sides of my portfolio, this website is goes against modern user experience conventions. Making labryinths of hyperlinks, I hope to eventually create an immersive ARG experience within the site. Where the longer you stay, and the more you click through my works, the more you peel back the skin of myself revealing a sick uncomfortable truth about voyeurism and corporate culture.
